NJCAA Top-Raked Teams Compete In Owens Men's Basketball Holiday Classic, Dec. 9-10

Three of the top 10 teams within NJCAA Division II men's basketball will converge on Owens Community College this weekend to compete in the Express Holiday Classic tournament, Friday-Saturday, December 9-10.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, the host Owens Express will take a 10-1 record and a No. 6 national ranking into basketball action against the Lewis College of Business (8-1 and unranked). The second game of the evening will see Mott Community College (5-2 and No. 3 ranking) battle Monroe Community College (9-2 and No. 9 ranking) at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, the consolation game will occur at 2 p.m. The Express Holiday Classic championship contest will follow the consolation game and begin at 4 p.m.

All home games are played at the College's Student Health and Activities Center (SHAC) on the Toledo-area Campus. Owens is located on Oregon Road, four miles from downtown Toledo. Admission to home games is free.
