Executive Director of Foundation
Jennifer Fehnrich is the Executive Director of the Owens Foundation and Government & Community Relations.
As the Executive Director of the Foundation, she is responsible for fostering a culture of philanthropy, while cultivating alumni, friends and donors to advance the financial growth and mission of the College. She provides comprehensive leadership for all fundraising operations to include implementation of major gifts, planned gifts and leadership-level giving strategies.
In the areas of government and community relations, she serves as the liaison to local, state and federal level government officials, as well as business and community leaders. Her responsibilities include advocating for legislative and economic issues relating to the College. She also oversees all aspects related to marketing and communications for the College, including mass media advertising campaigns and public and media relations efforts. She also has responsibilities for college-wide internal and external communication strategies.
Prior to her current role as executive director, Ms. Fehnrich served as director of public relations and marketing during her tenure at Owens that began in July 2002. Before coming to Owens, Ms. Fehnrich spent three years in a marketing/communications role with Dana Commercial Credit, a subsidiary of Fortune 500 Dana Corp. in Toledo and nearly six years before that at Poggemeyer Design Group in Bowling Green, OH.
Fehnrich is a graduate of Leadership Toledo, serves on the Lutheran Homes Society board, and is past president of the Perrysburg Rotary Club. She earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Bowling Green State University and earned a master's degree in marketing and communications from Franklin University. She resides in Perrysburg.
