The University of Toledo, Owens Community College and ProMedica have come together to diversify the nursing profession through QUEST for Success.

QUEST for Success provides underrepresented minorities and male nursing students the opportunity to become successful, employed, bachelor-prepared nurses.

Financial support may be available from ProMedica’s Ebeid Diversity in Nursing Scholarship and/or other tuition assistance programs.

Benefits of QUEST

  • Work as a nursing assistant at ProMedica while completing your ADN program in as little as two years
  • Work as a registered nurse at ProMedica while completing your 100-percent online B.S.N. in as little as one year
  • Graduate from the University of Toledo as an RN, BSN – Prepared Nurse

How to become part of QUEST

Number One   Apply and be accepted to Owens as a pre-nursing or nursing student in the Associate of Applied Science for Registered Nursing Program.
Number Two   Apply and be accepted to ProMedica’s Ebeid Neighborhood Promise Diversity in Nursing Scholarship program.
Number Three   Apply to Owens/UToledo dual admission program.
Number Four   Complete Owens’ Associate of Applied Science for Registered Nursing Program.
Number Five   Take and pass the Nursing Council Licensure Examination.
Number Six   Complete University of Toledo’s online, competency-based RN-BSN program.

NEXT STEPS

Students need to apply and be accepted to Owens Community College, and then be accepted into the Nursing program after the selective admissions process. Once a student has been accepted into both Owens and the Nursing program, they are eligible for QUEST.
