About Wide Area Networking & Cloud Technology

Wide Area Networking is the technology that connects your offices, data centers, cloud applications and cloud storage together.

It is called a wide-area network because it spans beyond a single building or large campus to include multiple locations spread across a specific geographic area, or even the world.

About the Wide Area Network & Cloud Tech Program

In the WAN & Cloud Tech program, you will gain skills in designing and implementing networks, including network servers, hubs, routers, workstations and other devices.

You will also study how to install and configure network servers for email, internet and proxy services.

The program will also provide you with essential abilities as a network professional to help you troubleshoot and repair network issues quickly and efficiently.

Those with cloud technology skills design and implement network infrastructure, including virtual private networks (VPNs), routing and switching. You will learn to ensure that the network infrastructure is optimized for the cloud and that it meets the organization’s requirements, as well as security and compliance requirements.

In the Owens Computer Wide Area Network & Cloud Tech Program, you will earn industry-recognized certifications embedded in courses within the program.
