About Your Owens Username

Your username is your full first name, underscore, full last name: jonathon_doe. Some usernames will have a number following the last name due to students having a common name (example: jonathon_doe2).

New Owens students will need to activate their account at Owens Self Service Password Reset.

    1. Click Activate Account and fill in your information.
    2. Once all information has been filled in, click Activate.
Note: Your OCID is your Owens nine-digit ID number found on your welcome letter via the personal email account provided on your application and a hard copy via U.S. Mail. If you did not receive a welcome letter, please contact the Admissions Office by calling (567) 661-7777.
    3. Immediately following the activation process, you will set up your account.
    4. Once done, you can proceed to the Owens Portal to sign in to your Ozone.

5. Access Workday and Complete Student Onboarding

Aside from using Workday to complete onboarding tasks, you can also use Workday to pay your bill, access your class schedule, monitor final grades and academic feedback and receive important engagements and to-do items.

6. Submit a Visiting Student Registration Request Form

To register for classes, please complete the Visiting Student Registration Request Form. You can access this in either your Ozone account or in Workday via the Helpful Links in your Academics app.

Visiting students do not need to send official transcripts to Owens.

To find course sections, use the Class Schedule Search. You will need to include the subject code, course number and section number for each course. Failure to include these details may delay your registration.

After completing the Request Form, monitor your Owens Student Email for registration confirmation details or error resolution instructions.

Please submit a new Request Form before each semester when you take a course at Owens as a visiting student.

For questions, email the Owens Visiting Students office.
