On Saturday, February 27, 2021 the TRIO Programs from Owens Community College, The University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University and Lourdes University will come together to celebrate TRIO in Northwest Ohio.

Theme: Together Resisting Injustice to “Overcome, Organize, and for Outreach”

Celebration Agenda

The deadline to register was Thursday, February 25.
  • 9:45. – 10 a.m. – Student, staff, and community participant arrivals
  • 10 – 10:20 a.m. – Opening and Welcome
  • 10:20 – 11:05 a.m. – Panel with participants representing each TRIO program
  • 11:05 – 11:35 a.m. – Breakout Session
    • Use Your Voice, Weaponize Your Education (Pre-college students grades 6-8)
    • How do we fight the injustices we see? (high school / college students)
      • A facilitated dialogue for students to discuss what injustice looks like?
  • 11:40 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. – Breakout Session
    • Use Your Voice, Weaponize Your Education (high school / college students)
    • How do we fight the injustices we see? (Pre-college students grades 6-8)
      • A facilitated dialogue for students to discuss what injustice looks like?
  • 12:10 – 12:20 p.m. – Program closing and prize giveaways

Cost – FREE!

Registration by Thursday, February 25 is REQUIRED.
