General Counsel/Assistant Attorney General, Education Section
Natalie Jackson currently serves as In-house General Counsel. She holds a bachelor of art degree, majoring in American studies from Kent State University, a juris doctorate from the Ohio State University and a doctoral degree in higher education administration from the University of Toledo. Her research interests include legal issues in student and academic affairs, campus safety and security, and state governance of higher education. Dr. Jackson has also served as an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Owens Community College and an adjunct professor of Higher Education Law at Central Michigan University. She previously served the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor and has been assigned as an Assistant Attorney General in the Education Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office since August of 2008.
