Visiting students are those interested in attending Owens for a short period of time and are considered non-degree seeking. There are two types of visiting students: transient and guest. Transient students are those who are enrolled at another accredited college or university and intend to apply their Owens Community College credits to a degree from their home institution. Guest students are those who are taking a limited number of courses for credit or personal interest.

Summer classes are offered in sessions consisting of 5 weeks, 8 weeks and 10 weeks in length, and most classes begin Monday, May 19 or Monday, June 2. See the class schedule for specific course start dates.
