The Owens Community College Center for Emergency Preparedness promotional video, "Beyond the Call," was awarded a bronze award at the 34th annual national Telly Awards in New York. The video was created by the Owens Office of Marketing and Communications in partnership with local agency Hart Associates.

James Kelly (Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and Owens Pre-Culinary Arts major) made history by becoming the first Express men's basketball player to appear on ESPN Sportscenter's Top 10 on March 6 for a dunk against Cuyahoga Community College.
