Passages Juried High School Art Show @ Walter E. Terhune Gallery

The 2026 Passages Juried High School Art Show is open to the public through March 21 in the Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts. There were 406 submissions — the most ever received — from 17 local high schools.

Assistive Technology Fair @ Healthcare Education Center

The Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Owens are partnering to provide a day full of fun and interprofessional education regarding assistive technology and remote supports. This event is free and open to the public. Additionally, The BIG Read author, Marian Schembari, will be present and signing copies of her book, “A Little Less Broken.”

One Day Registration @ College Hall

Join us at our One Day Registration event on Monday, March 23 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in College Hall. Prospective students can complete all of their enrollment steps for the upcoming Summer or Fall semesters. Orientation sessions will be held at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Get help with:

  • Application assistance
  • Meet with Advising staff
  • Meet with Student Financial Services
  • Receive registration assistance
  • Get your Owens Express student ID
  • Learn about support services at the Resource Fair

Denim Day

  • Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in Denim Day. Denim Day is an international campaign that started in Italy after a court of appeals overturned a rape conviction on the basis that the victim’s jeans were too tight to pull down without assistance, thus implying consent. Wear denim on April 29th to show your support for survivors of sexual assault.
