Easy Ways To Pay Your Bill

Owens offers several options for paying your tuition bill, including online, in person, by mail or through a deferred payment plan. You’ll see your tuition and fees in your Ozone account six weeks before the semester starts. Tuition bills are no longer sent via postal mail.

  • Owens accepts Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
  • A non-refundable 2.85% service fee is charged on every credit/debit card transaction.

How Refunds Work

Owens will deliver your refund via BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.

If you are under age 18, Owens will send a paper check to the address listed in your Ozone account. To request an electronic disbursement, email Student Financial Services.

Refund Dates

To be eligible for a refund, you must follow the official withdrawal procedures outlined in the Registration (Add/Drop Class) Instructions.

The date of withdrawal processed through the Records Office is the date used to determine the amount of tuition and fees to be refunded.

Lack of attendance does not constitute eligibility to receive refunds or guarantee the waiver of college fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. If you need help paying with a credit card on Ozone, contact Student Financial Services.

Yes. You may pay with a MasterCard, Visa or Discover debit card. Because credit and debit transactions are processed together, debit card transactions will be assessed a service fee.

No. The credit card company will not honor these checks when used electronically. The payment will be returned as “account not found.” You may use these checks in person only.

The service fee covers credit card transaction fees assessed by card issuers. Credit card processing companies set the 2.85% fee.

On your credit card statement, you will see two transactions—one for the student account payment and one for the service fee.

The service fee is non-refundable, even if the payment to which it relates is canceled, refunded, credited or charged back.

You can avoid the service fee by paying on Ozone with an e-check. This is a direct bank transfer from your checking or savings account.

Payments made in person or by mail are not subject to a service fee.
