Scholarships
Free funding to help pay for college
A scholarship is money provided to help fund your college education that you don’t have to repay. Many colleges, businesses, non-profits and government programs offer scholarships based on grades, financial need, specific groups, career goals or local involvement.
At Owens Community College, you can apply for scholarships through the Board of Trustees, the College Foundation and outside contributors, with application procedures and deadlines varying by award.
Many scholarships require a short essay, so be sure to check out tips for writing a strong scholarship essay to boost your chances of success.
