The Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery welcomes “Birds and Sky,” featuring new work developed by eight regional artists to memorialize the annual warbler migration through northwest Ohio and The Biggest Week in American Birding.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 5-7 p.m.

The Office of Student Life is hosting a week-long photo scavenger hunt. Follow the clues, track down the location and snap a picture to upload to the Student Life Instagram page. The more you participate, the more chances you have to win prizes.
Career & Transfer Services is hosting the Owens Findlay-area Campus Transfer Fair in the Atrium and Student Life is also hosting a Chili Cook-Off that day in EC 111. Come talk with other college and university transfer reps to learn about programs, scholarships, and the transfer process. Individuals, students, departments, and student organizations are also welcome to enter chili in the cook-off competition. All attendees are welcome to taste the chilis and vote for their favorite.
Does climate anxiety motivate action — or create paralysis? Is individual action enough, or should the focus be on systemic change?
Join students, faculty and staff for a lively debate inspired by “A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety” from 10 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Oct. 8 in College Hall 100 or on this Zoom link. Participants will examine multiple perspectives, challenge assumptions and engage in thoughtful dialogue about some of today’s most important environmental and social questions based on the cases at this link. Come ready to think critically, listen respectfully, ask questions and perhaps even change your mind.
Owens Dental Hygiene students will be providing free dental care to children during Access to Care Day from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12 in Healthcare Education Center 100. Services include dental cleanings, x-rays, sealants, fluoride treatments, exams and dental education for children up to the age of 17. This event is by appointment only. Enjoy the harvest season with plenty of fun and food outside of College and Administration halls. Drop by for pumpkin painting, games, apple cider and hot donuts from the Toledo Mini-Donut truck. In case of rain, the location will change to the Student Health and Activities Center.
