Bring a team to The BIG Read Blackout Bunker Escape Room from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23 in College Hall 170. Work together to solve puzzles, make difficult decisions and prepare for an uncertain future before time runs out.
Inspired by this year’s BIG Read theme, this interactive escape room challenges participants to think critically, communicate effectively and discover how resilience, collaboration and creativity can help us face complex challenges. Gather your team and see if you can escape before the blackout wins!

New and returning students are invited to register for Spring 2027 classes during Registration Palooza from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30 in College Hall.
Attendees can not only register for classes and meet with Student Financial Services staff, but they can enter to win free tuition for the semester! All students who register for Spring 2027 classes by Sept. 30 are eligible for the grand prize.
Other highlights of Registration Palooza include:
- Free Spring 2027 tuition for one winner
- Giveaways for the first 150 students
- Hourly prize drawings to include an iPad, gift cards and more
- Free doughnuts in the morning and free lunch
- Registration and Student Financial Services assistance available all day
- Petting zoo from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Office of Student Life is hosting a week-long photo scavenger hunt. Follow the clues, track down the location and snap a picture to upload to the Student Life Instagram page. The more you participate, the more chances you have to win prizes.
Career & Transfer Services is hosting the Owens Findlay-area Campus Transfer Fair in the Atrium and Student Life is also hosting a Chili Cook-Off that day in EC 111. Come talk with other college and university transfer reps to learn about programs, scholarships, and the transfer process. Individuals, students, departments, and student organizations are also welcome to enter chili in the cook-off competition. All attendees are welcome to taste the chilis and vote for their favorite.
