The BIG Read honors and celebrates neurodivergence by sharing the stories of neurodivergent individuals in an exhibit from April 3-May 3 in the Heritage Hall lounge.
Join the ASL Interpreter Hub Fair and Workshop on Friday, April 3. The Career Fair will be in Veterans Hall from 12-1 p.m., and the ASL workshop will be in Founders Hall 1010 from 1-2 p.m.
A Dental Job and Networking Fair will be held from 1-3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4 in the Math/Science Galleria, featuring nearly 25 office and group dental practices from Ohio and Michigan. First- and second-year dental hygiene, dental assisting, dental office coordinator and EFDA students as well as graduates seeking new career opportunities are invited to attend.

Ohio Attorney General David Yost’s Office will present the STAR Academy Designation to the Owens Police Academy. The College community is invited to the celebration. Refreshments will be served.
Dr. Ben Fry, a behavioral neuroscientist and associate teaching professor at Penn State University and Owens graduate, will share his story during an Owens & Onwards presentation. From dropping out of high school at age 17 and obtaining his GED to graduating from Owens six years later, Dr. Fry will share his journey through academia, with an emphasis on the unique challenges faced by non-traditional and first-generation students. He will discuss how to make the most of your time at Owens and beyond, resources to take advantage of, and how to ask for opportunities instead of waiting on them.
The Title IX Office at Owens will host a monthly series of Title IX Coffee Talks, beginning in the Fall 2025 semester. Each talk will be in a different location and focus on various topics.
