PTA Research Poster Presentations

Physical Therapist Assistant students will present their research posters on Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Healthcare Education Center and Math/Science Hallway.

Students will have their research posters displayed on easels throughout the area while giving a brief review of the components of research, including some background information and results. They’ll also have giveaways related to their research.

From 6-8 p.m. that day, the students will present their research in a formal symposium, which is approved by the State of Ohio for continuing education units needed for licensure.

Students worked in teams over eight weeks to complete evidence-based research projects in the field of physical therapy. Teams recruited participants on campus and in the community to participate in their studies.
