Come meet Artist Julia LaBay, whose solo art exhibition will be on display from August 19th – October 18th. LaBay is a 3D technical assistant and instructor at the University of Toledo Department of Art. Julia works with youth through Young Women of Toledo. She is also the Curator for the Blair Museum of Lithophanes. She received her BFA in sculpture at the University of Toledo in 2012 and her MFA from Bowling Green State University in 2015. She also manages her own design company.

Unconscious biases that revolve around race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, etc. are in the background of our minds; we are often unaware of how they influence our decisions and thinking. Join Dr. Kristen Price, Professor of Psychology, and Kim Musser-Quist, Instructor of American Sign Language, as we discuss overcoming these biases during this dynamic presentation.

The Owens Community College baseball team will hold tryouts at the Owens baseball field. Any interested athlete will need to bring an updated physical and be registered for classes at Owens Community College.

The courses for which students are registered at the end of the business day on the freeze date will determine financial aid eligibility as long as completed FAFSA results are on file at Owens.
