The AnR Program invites local artists in the Greater Toledo Area to spend the summer at the Owens Community College Center for Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA). The artist will have the opportunity to use the studio spaces, instruct workshops or classes, display artwork in Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery, or perform in the CFPA Mainstage Theatre. An Opening Reception will be held June 5 between 5-7 p.m.
Career and Transfer Services and Campus and Community Connections are hosting a Pop-up Career Closet from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, June 30 in the College Hall Lounge. Owens students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to visit the event to get free professional clothing, shoes and accessories for interviewing, internships, job searching and employment.
The semester is creeping along, let’s let out some pent-up stress. Stop on by outside College and Administration halls and smash, stomp and pulverize last-month’s pumpkins. Don’t forget to grab a tasty treat, too.
