Outstanding Graduate Furthers Career at Owens

Owens Community College offers different avenues for every student. For Caitlin Parker, this year’s Outstanding Business Technology Graduate, Owens helped her grow in her finance career. Parker, a Brooklyn, New York native, has worked at KeyBank for eight years.

She said the banking industry allows her to explore a variety of career possibilities. In addition to that, the flexibility offered at Owens has allowed her to balance her family, career and still devote time to classes.

“I have been able to overcome so many obstacles during my time here because of the support and encouragement of my professors and advisors,” she said.

After graduation, Parker will pursue her bachelor’s degree.
