Report a Crime

Emergency Assistance: Police, Fire and Medical

For life-threatening situations or emergencies, call 9-1-1. Faculty and staff can also press the emergency button on their office phone.

If you call 9-1-1, please also call the Department of Public Safety (DPS) at (567) 661-7575 to report the situation.

If it is not an emergency, call the DPS non-emergency number (567) 661-7575. The DPS can also be reached by calling 7575 from any campus phone.

To Report a Crime

Criminal activity or emergencies may be reported to the DPS by picking up any of the red emergency phones located throughout each building.

Contact the DPS by calling (567) 661-7575 or by calling 7575 from any campus phone.

The DPS strongly encourages prompt, accurate reporting of all criminal activity to the Owens Police Division or the appropriate law enforcement agency if the activity occurs off campus.

Silent Witness Reports

Victims and witnesses may report a crime on a voluntary, confidential basis by filing an online Silent Witness Form. Silent Witness allows the anonymous submission of reports of suspected criminal activity that occurs on College property.
