MRI Technology Program Mission

The Mission of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program sponsored by Owens Community College is to provide the healthcare community with caring, competent and professional Magnetic Resonance technologists. (1-13, Reviewed 1-15, 9-16, 9-17, 1-2020.)

Program Goals

Goal 1: Students Will Clinically Competent

Student Learning Outcomes:

• Students will select appropriate imaging parameters.
• Students will demonstrate proficiency in scanning MRI exams.

Goal 2: Students Effectively Will Utilize Critical Thinking Skills

Student Learning Outcomes:

• Students will analyze the quality on MRI exams.
• Students will apply MRI safety procedures.
