More Than 800 Students Named to Owens Dean’s List, Dean’s Recognition in Summer 2026

Owens Community College is proud to announce that 30 students from its Toledo-area and Findlay-area Campuses were named to the Dean’s List for their work in the Summer 2026 semester. An additional 825 students earned Dean’s Recognition honors.
More than 800 Owens students received special academic recognition from the Summer 2026 semester.Each semester, the Dean’s List and Dean’s Recognition gives recognition to those students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.
A student completing 12 or more college credit hours in a given semester may be eligible for the Dean’s List by earning a semester grade point average of 3.50 or above with no grade lower than a C.
A student completing 6.00-11.99 college credit hours in a given semester may be eligible for Dean’s Recognition by earning a semester grade point average of 3.50 or above with no grade lower than a C.
The breakdown by academic school is as follows:
- School of Business, Hospitality Management and Public Safety: 4 Dean’s List, 93 Dean’s Recognition
- School of Liberal Arts: 3 Dean’s List, 91 Dean’s Recognition
- School of Nursing and Health Professions: 7 Dean’s List, 452 Dean’s Recognition
- School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics: 16 Dean’s List, 189 Dean’s Recognition
Six College Credit Plus students and visiting students were named to the Dean’s List, with another 462 earning Dean’s Recognition. Visiting students are registered as visiting, international applicant, undeclared major or special registration population.
Owens Findlay-area Campus had two students earn Dean’s List honors and an additional 104 students earn Dean’s Recognition honors.
