Doors open for graduates and guests at 12 p.m.
Guests should plan to be seated by 1:45 p.m.

Graduate Check-in Information

Graduates will check in at The Aquarium. Graduates must be checked in by 1:15 p.m. and lined up by 1:30 p.m. Owens staff will assist in directing graduates once inside The Aquarium.

Guest Tickets

No tickets will be necessary to attend the ceremony.

Cap and Gown Order Deadline

Visit the Jostens website to purchase your cap, gown and other commencement items.

Findlay-area Campus graduates are encouraged to email the Student Activities Office to make arrangements for a rental.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Commencement Ceremony

Graduation numbers have grown significantly. Hosting one ceremony at a larger venue allows all graduates to celebrate together and invite as many guests as they wish.

Based on projections, May 2026 would have required at least seven ceremonies. A single ceremony is more inclusive and creates a shared milestone experience.

The ceremony will last approximately two hours.

No. Guests will not need tickets and there is no limit on the number of guests per graduate.

Faculty will be seated in a dedicated area behind the graduates.

Where to Park

To ensure a safe and efficient entry process, all bags brought into the Huntington Center are subject to inspection. There is no specific size restriction for Commencement; however, guests are encouraged to bring only essential items. Flowers and small gifts are permitted.

The following items are not permitted inside the venue: weapons of any kind, coolers, beach balls, fireworks, laser pens or laser products, aerosol spray cans, tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers), chairs of any kind (excluding wheelchairs for accessibility), pets (except service animals) and any other item deemed unsafe or inappropriate by venue management.

All policies are subject to change based on venue and safety requirements.

No. Food and beverages may not be brought into the Huntington Center. Concessions will be open before and during the ceremony, serving a variety of food and beverages for purchase.

No. The nurse pinning ceremony will be held separately. The Spring 2026 nurse pinning ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
