How To Get Started

Before you start classes, you must attend the new-student orientation. These are held every six weeks. Please contact the College and Career Readiness Center for dates and times.

In-Person Classes

• Morning (in person): Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-noon
• Evening (in person): Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Classes and orientations are held at Owens Community College, 30335 Oregon Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Classroom locations may change—please check your schedule for updates.

Online Classes

Online ESOL classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:30-3:30 p.m. To study ESOL online, you need internet access. You must also complete orientation to be placed in the correct class.

Do You Have an F-1 Student Visa?

Under federal law, Owens Aspire CCR cannot provide services or instruction to students with F-1 visas who have limited English proficiency. Contact the International Student Services office for more information.

Required Documentation

PLEASE NOTE: Due to current federal regulations, all students participating in any of our Aspire classes will be required to show documentation of U.S. Legal Status Verification. Please see the forms of currently acceptable documentation (PDF) that must be presented at orientation or before official enrollment in Aspire classes. Students may not be served or enrolled in Aspire classes without approved documentation. The documentation requirements and evaluation process are subject to change without notice.
