American Culinary Federation (ACF)

Students are invited to participate in the American Culinary Federation (ACF).

Take your place in ACF, the only organization promoting the professional image of chefs worldwide through education of culinarians at all levels. Network with renowned chefs, top industry professionals and executives.

Owens students participate in regional ACF competitions through the College-level student organization, Owens Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Association.

Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)

The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) is the global leader in supply chain organizational transformation, innovation and leadership. As the largest non-profit association for supply chain, ASCM is an unbiased partner, connecting companies around the world to the newest thought leadership on all aspects of supply chain.

Owens offers a free membership to its students through a partnership with the University of Toledo.

Institute of Management Accountants (IMA)

This student chapter of the international organization, Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), provides a channel of communication between students and professional education. In addition to the monthly meetings at the Owens campus, students also attend Toledo chapter meetings. The monthly meetings provide opportunities for students to network with area professionals in accounting, finance, and management. Owens IMA Student Chapter operates under the guidance of the IMA Regional Chapter, Toledo.

Owens Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Student Association

Our purpose is to provide the culinary and hospitality management students with a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including catered events, competitions, educational seminars, field trips and networking opportunities.

Owens students who participate in the Owens Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Association may be invited to participate in regional ACF (American Culinary Federation) competitions.
