How to Use the BIG Read in Your Classroom and/or Event
Using The BIG Read in your classrooms and events doesn’t mean it needs to be totally integrated into your classrooms or events. Make it work for you by choosing your own BIG adventure.
BIG Adventure Users
Uses themes: Include activities such as discussion boards, class discussions, case studies, etc. that explore the book themes and encourage students to read the book and participate in events in their course(s).
BIG+ Adventure Users
Uses themes and book: Include activities such as discussion boards, class discussions, case studies, etc. that explore passages of the book and themes and encourage students to read the book and participate in events in their course(s).
Total BIG Users
Integrates themes and book: Include activities such as discussion boards, class discussions, case studies, essays, etc. that explore the book and book themes, require students to read the book and integrate events into the course(s).
