Financial Data, Stats & Communication
Start with the language of accounting and learn to read and understand financial reports. Next, learn the common tools of the profession, including QuickBooks, Excel and statistical reasoning. Finally, branch out into payroll, taxation and cost accounting.
Later, study the legal and ethical framework for business and accounting. Woven throughout all your classes are the skills needed in any profession: understanding and communicating with people.
