Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Identify validated sources for security alerts and tools.
- Use a collection of appropriate tools and techniques to identify, isolate, eliminate and recover from threats and to make appropriate recommendations in order to avoid, lessen, or mitigate such risks.
- Create and maintain a knowledge base including end-user documentation, policies, procedures and problem resolutions using industry standard maintenance and reporting tools.
- Secure and test processes for business and industry continuity and disaster recovery.
- Identify and demonstrate understanding of the ethical and legal issues that impact technology.
- Earn IT Industry Certifications to demonstrate their skills learned and build their credentials for employment and further study.
