The Owens Criminal Justice Transfer Pathway program starts your career in Ohio law enforcement, community policing and public safety.
Our program will prepare you to transfer into a four-year criminal justice program upon graduation.
This program is conveniently located in Northwest Ohio, in both Michigan and Ohio. Owens criminal justice and law enforcement classes are within driving distance of southern Michigan and northwest Ohio.

This program equips you with the professional skills and knowledge to begin your careers in the criminal justice field.
Our program will prepare you for a career in law enforcement, policing, crime prevention, criminal law and juvenile justice.
The Owens Criminal Justice Transfer Pathway will prepare you for continued education in a 4-year criminal justice program.
You will take courses that will train you in investigation, victimology, court proceedings, constitutional law, probation and crime prevention.
The curriculum has been adapted to include contemporary areas such as community policing and victims’ rights.
In addition to professional skills, general education courses develop you to be more prepared to deal with social issues that you will confront in the performance of your duty.
