Animate your Future
This intensive 32-credit animation program fuses graphic design mastery, cutting-edge visual technology and professional animation techniques to equip your inner creative powerhouse. By graduation, you’ll be well-versed in the same techniques and software the pros use.
Dive deep into design theory: In the first semester, master industry-standard Mac applications, digital imaging techniques and vector graphics. You’ll also learn about the rich history of animation.
Put theory into practice: In the second semester, you’ll start to create compelling digital media, produce engaging video content and craft fluid 2D animations to breathe life into original characters.
You’ll develop a critical eye that can separate amateur work from professional excellence. Every project can be used in a professional demo reel that showcasing your unique creative voice and technical prowess.
If you continue your education to earn an associate degree, credits from this certificate apply directly toward the Animation Major, AAS.

Enrollment is easy—just fill out an online admissions application to get started. We’ll ask you to submit your transcripts for course placement and college credit.
Upon acceptance, schedule a meeting with your admissions advisor to register for classes. Next, attend an on-campus orientation and meet with your student financial services advisor to discuss ways to pay for college.
