Career Outcomes

By graduating and meeting the licensure requirements, you’ll be eligible to apply for Ohio’s Pre-Kindergarten Associate License through the State Department of Education. This voluntary license can enhance your career opportunities as an early childhood educator, preschool teacher or childcare professional.

You’ll have many options for where to work—child care centers, Head Start centers, public schools, preschools and public preschool paraprofessional programs. Beyond classroom teaching, you can also pursue roles as a Head Start Home Visitor, Family Engagement Advocate, or Health and Disabilities Advocate.
