From Classroom to Dealership
In just five semesters, you’ll gain the expertise to diagnose and repair every major GM system. From day one, you’ll combine classroom learning with dealership-based field experience.
You’ll master vehicle performance—from powerful engines to manual transmissions, suspension and steering. This comprehensive training in engine analysis gives you the expertise to diagnose, repair and optimize complex systems with confidence. You’ll also work on brake systems and electrical and electronic components—building the skills to keep GM vehicles running at their best.
Applied math ensures technical precision, while field rotations put theory into practice. Add professional-level writing, applied physics and psychology, and you’ll graduate as a highly skilled GM-certified technician, ready for the evolving automotive industry.

Getting Started at Owens
Begin your high-quality education at an affordable price today!
Enrollment is easy—just fill out an online admissions application to get started. We’ll ask you to submit your transcripts for course placement and college credit. You’ll also need to fill out the Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) Application.
Upon acceptance, schedule a meeting with your admissions advisor to register for classes. Next, attend an on-campus orientation and meet with your student financial services advisor to discuss ways to pay for college.
