Getting Started at Owens
To be accepted for this certificate, you must hold a current ARRT registration in radiography or be a second-year radiography student. Prospective students should apply to Owens first, then to apply to the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
MIT 256, the online course, requires ARRT certification in Radiography or current enrollment as a second-year radiography student. MIT 257, the clinical course, requires full ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
You must submit proof of ARRT certification to the program chair prior to course registration. For clinical placement, you are also required to provide documentation of a completed health examination, background check and additional requirements as specified by the program. Acceptance to the clinical course is based on clinical site availability.
