Academics

Completion and Employment

The Student Right to Know Graduation Rates provides completion, graduation and transfer rate information regarding full-time students by gender, ethnic group and Federal Pell Grant eligibility status.

Books

Please visit the financial aid website for information about book vouchers.

For textbook information, please go to the Class Schedule Search and find the student’s registered courses. Click on “Find Books” to be directed to the bookstore.

The student can also access the online eCampus bookstore.

The Annual Notice to Students regarding the Family Education Rights & Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) explains the student’s rights related to their student education records, including disclosure of information and directory information.

Owens Community College does not currently have a vaccination policy.

College Costs and Financial Aid

Each year, the federal government calculates a cohort default rate for schools who participate in the federal loan program.  The rate is determined by identifying the borrowers who start repaying their loans during a fiscal year, then determining what percentage of them default before the end of the next fiscal year.

The college’s Cohort Default Rates are available at the U.S. Department of Education College Navigator site.

The national default rates (PDF) are reported by Federal Student Aid.

The College Financing Plan provides a standardized summary of a student’s financial aid so students can compare costs and financial aid across colleges and universities. Students who have applied for financial aid can view their College Financing Plan online.

Military Personnel Using GI Bill® Benefits can view a list of fees which may be covered by VA benefits.

The College Scorecard provides information about a college’s affordability and loan repayment rates.

Credit balances are refunded to students based on their refund preference with the college’s third-party contractor for refund management, BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. Review the contract between BMTX, Inc. and Owens Community College.

Federal student loan information is reported to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS®). This information can be viewed by schools, lenders and guarantors who are authorized users.  Students can view student loan information from Federal Student Aid.
