Early Admit Students

Take College Classes Before You Graduate From High School

If you’re in grades 9-12, you can complete college credit classes at Owens Community College while still attending high school. As an early admit student, you’ll take your courses at Owens in addition to your regular high school classes. You can enroll in any course as long as you meet the prerequisite requirements.

Early Admit vs. College Credit Plus (CCP)

Both programs give students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to take college courses and earn college credit while still in high school. The key difference is how the courses are funded.

College Credit Plus students can earn their credits at no cost through a state-funded program. Early Admit students are responsible for covering their own educational expenses.
