College Credit Plus (CCP) Level 1 Courses
Under Ohio law, College Credit Plus students must successfully complete 15 credit hours of Level I courses before enrolling in Level II courses. Once you have completed 15 credit hours of approved Level I coursework, you may enroll in additional courses for which you meet the prerequisites.
Level I courses are selected because they provide a strong foundation for future college coursework and are more likely to transfer among Ohio colleges and universities. Many Level I courses carry statewide transfer designations, including:
- Ohio Transfer 36 (OT36): General education courses that transfer among Ohio public colleges and universities.
- Transfer Assurance Guides (TAGs): Courses that fulfill major-specific requirements and transfer statewide.
