Where Future Nurses Begin
In your first semester, you’ll discover what makes people tick—both physically and emotionally. Dive into psychology and composition while exploring healthcare careers and mastering medical terminology. Most importantly, you’ll build a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology.
The second semester takes you deeper into advanced anatomy and physiology, lifespan psychology and mathematics. You’ll also master the art of communication through communication or public speaking—because connecting with patients and healthcare teams is just as crucial as clinical knowledge.
Your third semester brings it all together with microbiology and immunology, ethics, and another composition class to refine your professional communication. Certified Nurse Aide Training places you directly in clinical settings, giving you real-world patient care experience.
The final semester is yours to shape. Choose five electives that match your interests and goals while completing your degree requirements. Whether you want to strengthen your science background, explore the humanities or dive deeper into healthcare specialties, you’re designing an education that sets you up for success in any registered nursing program.
