Become an RN. Touch Lives.

Provide care, comfort and guidance when it matters most.

Step into healthcare’s most trusted profession through comprehensive training that prepares you for the diverse, high-impact world of registered nursing. RNs are healthcare leaders who assess patient conditions, coordinate care plans, administer medications and make critical decisions that directly affect patient outcomes in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities and community health settings.

With Owens’ Registered Nurse Program, AAS, you’ll master the fundamentals of patient care while developing the skills to make confident clinical decisions. Gain deep expertise in health and disease that prepares you to excel in nursing’s high-pressure environments.

As a registered nurse, you’ll spend your time healing patients and leading Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). Beyond clinical tasks, you’ll provide vital comfort, guidance and advocacy, creating lasting impact on individuals and communities.

Exceptional nurses embody these essential qualities:

  • Compassion and Empathy: Deliver patient-centered care with genuine understanding and kindness.
  • Critical Thinking: Make confident clinical decisions under pressure in complex medical situations.
  • Communication Excellence: Build trust with patients and families while collaborating seamlessly with healthcare teams.
