About the Program
The MRI Program at Owens Community College is a health care entry-level program. The MRI Program student will gain knowledge in human anatomy, MRI procedures, MRI safety, MRI physics. The student will have access to our unique MRI lab that is on campus and will be ready to attend clinical MRI experience at an affiliated clinical site. A graduate of the MRI Program will acquire an Associate of Applied Science degree.
A graduate of the MRI Program will be eligible to obtain national certification of a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
