Kaylee Dombrowski
Commencement is an exciting time for college graduates. For Kaylee Dombrowski, this year’s Outstanding Vascular Sonography student, it’s even more exciting as a first-generation college graduate Ultrasound had always piqued the Central Catholic graduate’s interest and when she learned Owens Community College offered the degree, she knew it was her next step.
“Every faculty member that I have encountered while I’ve been here has been amazing. They really do care about their student’s success,” said Dombrowski. During her time at Owens, she also was involved in Sound Professionals, an organization where students volunteer and fundraise for an ultrasound seminar after their second year.
After graduation, Dombrowski plans to stay in the area and pursue a job at a local hospital.
