Owens Community College Academic Advising engages, challenges, and supports a diverse student population to assist students in achieving their educational and career goals.

Students are assigned an academic advisor based on their major and will work with that advisor during their pursuit of a degree or certificate.

When should I meet with my advisor?

Find your advisor

Students are assigned an advisor based on their declared major. To find your Academic Advisor’s name and contact information, log into Ozone and under My Ozone tab scroll down to the “Academic Profile” section or click “Find your advisor” in the “Academic Advising” section.

How do I meet with my Academic Advisor?

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT APPOINTMENTS

The lobby of the Student Service Center is open and in-person meetings will be offered by appointment only. We will not be offering walk-ins for the foreseeable future.  While we are offering in-person appointments, we still encourage phone and online appointments. The same customer service and information will be provided.

Important information regarding in-person appointments:

  • Advisors and students will be required to wear a mask.
  • Advisors and students will be spaced 6-feet apart during the appointment.
  • No guests allowed at the appointment, only the student.
  • If you are feeling ill, we ask that you reschedule or schedule an online or phone appointment.
  • The advisor’s office will be sanitized after each appointment.

Toledo Academic Advising Hours

January 4, 2021 – January 22, 2021
Monday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Lobby and Phones close at 5 p.m.)
Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Effective January 25, 2021
Monday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Saturdays (Lobby closed; Virtual Appointments scheduled in advance only)
January 9, 2021: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Findlay Academic Advising

The Student Service Center lobby is closed until further notice. Face-to-Face, phone, and online appointments are still available. Please call (567) 661-2387 for further information and to schedule an appointment.

How to Register for Classes

  1. Log in to your Ozone account.
  2. Click on the Registration card in your Ozone account.
  3. Select Add/Drop Classes.
  4. Select term and click Submit. (If prompted, confirm personal information and review the financial agreement to continue.)
  5. Scroll to bottom of the page and click Class Search. Read more in our Ozone handout. >>
