Online Course Delivery Options
When you search our class schedule, you’ll now find new online options to choose from. Pay close attention, as some sections have specific day/time or onsite requirements.
Live scheduled class meetingsThese courses will be delivered using an online web conferencing tool and will require remote participation on specific days and times. Students will engage in real time with their instructor.
TraditionalThese are online courses with no specific day and time requirements, but student work must typically submitted by regular deadlines throughout the semester.
CombinationHybrid online courses are a combination of both the face-to-face and online requirements.
Web Course Orientation
If you are new to online learning, we recommend self-enrolling into our free Blackboard Orientation Course. Once you’ve completed the Owens application process, log into Blackboard and look for the link that says, “Click Here to Self-enroll in the Student Blackboard Orientation” It’s free and you can complete it in less than 2 hours.
