Computer Systems Technologies & Support Program, AAS (Owens Code: CSTS)


This program is designed to provide students a powerful combination of career and continuing education options to foster skills as Computer Technicians.

Computer Technicians have a broad array of IT skills and typically work for corporations and industry within the IT department.

Students will learn to install hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, and maintain hardware and software systems to ensure companies can operate efficiently.

Students will learn networking, security, IT project management skills, and earn industry certifications.

In addition to the technical skills valuable skills in listening, customer service, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technical writing will be gained.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 11% from 2019 to 2029, much faster than the average growth rate for all other occupations.
