Cap and Gown Order Deadline November 24

A cap, gown and tassel are required to participate in the Commencement and pinning ceremony. The cap and gown fabric and shade of black are specific to Owens Community College, so you may not wear regalia from another graduation ceremony at another institution. Also, the gown style is different for each level of degree earned.

Order your cap and gown from Jostens online. The deadline to place orders is Thursday, November 24. Owens graduates will all wear a red and white tassel.

Commencement Cap and Gown Rental

Student Activities is offering graduates the opportunity to rent a cap and gown for the Commencement ceremony. The cost is a $20 cash deposit for the cap and gown. Graduates will receive their cash deposit back when their cap and gown is returned.  For students needing a tassel, whether renting a gown or not, these will cost $10 cash (non-fundable) for each tassel and charm. The tassel will be theirs to keep and non-refundable.
