The Emergency Medical Technician classes are designed to train students in the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to enter an entry-level job as an EMT.

This program is great for students and aspiring paramedics in both Michigan and Ohio. Our EMT classes are located within driving distance of southern Michigan and northwest Ohio.

About the Owens Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certification

Owens EMT classes follow the Department of Transportation (DOT) standards as well as the national standard curriculum.

Those who successfully complete the course will be eligible to take the National Registry exam and receive state certification through Owens Community College.

Students must have a current American Heart Association health care provider CPR card and a valid drivers license. Only Individuals interested in EMT-Basic certification should register.
