Walt Celley

Walt Celley has been the principal Administrator of Perrysburg Township since 2013 and was formerly the Township Law Director. He has been a licensed attorney at law since 1987. He is a 1976 graduate of Owens Community College, with an Associate Degree in Agri-Business Technology. Walt worked in the grain industry from 1976 to 1984. He has a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a law degree from the University Of Toledo College Of Law. Perrysburg Township is home to Owens Community College and Penta Career Center and Walt has significant involvement with both institutions through the Perrysburg Rotary Club. He is Chair of Rotary’s STRIVE (Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of Education) program at Penta and had a fundamental role in establishing the Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation Endowed Scholarship with the Owens Community College Foundation. He has been a member of the Owens Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2011 and was named Distinguished Alumnus by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges in 2012. Walt and his wife live in Perrysburg.
