On May 11, 2021 Owens Community College was granted $8,441,591 in Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds III (HEERF III) under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP). These emergency funds are provided to college students to ensure learning continues during the national emergency.
Allowable expenses include:
- Paying on an outstanding institutional balance
- Food
- Housing
- Health Care (including mental health care)
- Child Care
Owens Community College is required to provide quarterly reports. Information will continue to be updated no later than 10 days after the end of each calendar quarter (April 10, July 10, October 10, January 10).
