Dr. Kristin Price

Professor, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Psychology


Kristin Price, Professor of Psychology, is a Developmental Psychologist who teaches a variety of courses in Social and Behavioral Science. These include General Psychology, Life Span Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Introduction to Personality, Psychology of Childhood and Introduction to Gerontology. Dr. Price earned her BA, MA and Ph.D. from the University of Toledo, after which she taught courses at both UT and Lourdes University. She has been a full-time faculty member at Owens since 2009. Price has served as Chair of the Owens Institutional Review Board since its inception in 2012. She also serves as faculty representative on the Student Conduct Hearing Board. She holds a wide variety of interests revolving around language and conceptual development in children. She also enjoys working with youth sports and education in her local community, where she and her husband are raising three sons in the Anthony Wayne Local School District.
