Steven Ross

Professor, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Psychology


Professor Ross is originally from Dannemora, a small town in the Adirondack region of upstate New York.  He earned his undergraduate degree from Plattsburgh State University in 2005 and his M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2008.  Professor Ross regularly teaches General Psychology, Life Span Psychology and Social Psychology at Owens.  His research interests include change blindness, false memory, persuasion and liking/attraction.  He spends his free time competing in pub trivia tournaments, playing tennis, listening to comedy podcasts and watching the latest theatrical releases.
