What if I have already been admitted to Owens?

Congratulations! You have completed one of the first steps in the admission process. You will still want to make a visit to campus through the Visit Owens Program even if you have already applied. There is valuable information that will be covered during your visit regarding the next steps within the enrollment process.

What is covered in the information session?

You will learn how to get started and register for classes when you attend an Information Session through the Visit Owens Program. Admission Advisors will assist you with completing your application online and activating your free Owens e-mail account (Ozone). There will be a brief tour of important Student Service offices and the option to take a whole campus tour. Other highlights of the information session include:

  • Placement Testing information (Compass)
  • Catalog/Class Scheduling
  • Tuition/fees, financial aid and scholarship information
  • Student Activities and Resources
  • Question/Answer session

When can I visit the campus?

You can visit campus most days of the week and on select Saturday mornings. Visit Owens Programs are offered at various dates and times throughout the semester. Check out the most current days and times and schedule a visit here.

Where do I start my campus visit?

On the Toledo Campus, you start your visit in the Office of Admissions in College Hall 130.

On the Findlay Campus, you will start your visit by stopping by the Information Desk, which is located in the “Common” student area in front of the Student Services and Student Financial Services offices. The “Commons” area also houses the Jaguar Grill and student lounges.

At the Owens Community College Learning Center Downtown Toledo, you start your visit by checking in at the front desk, which will be the first desk in encounter when you enter the Learning Center.

Where do I park when I visit campus?

You may park in any of the yellow outline parking spots. The green spots are reserved for Owens faculty and staff.

How do I get to Owens?

Can my parents or guest come with me?

Yes, you may bring your parents or a guest. Please include them when you RSVP for your campus visit.
